I completely understand your frustration and concern, I once was in the same boat as you. Had to drop out of college, lost my apartment & swallowed my pride to move into my parents basement again and started Internet Marketing. Luckily for you lol you signed up for this ... I learned the hard way. Here is my best advice for whatever it is worth.
Internet Marketing can be very difficult if you dont know what your doing, thats why there is always upsells that offer more advice. If you use this software to create squeeze pages in combination with Aweber you can build a powerful list to keep contacting possible customers and this is where the money comes from is the list. ( I call this the hard/long sale)
The hard part is driving traffic to your site, and honestly i am really hoping Jamie and Travis come through on this part because so far their advice has been very brief and well ... inefficient if you are not an exp marketer. The way I get most of my traffic is PPC which cost money ... but an excellent way to get free traffic is through forums. However, if you dont do it right it is a 110% waste of time.
I would be happy to share my knowledge of using forums as a way of traffic, if you are interested simply contact me.
